Abstract

It is known that more than 40% of pregnant women have a deficiency of vitamin D. In addition to the classic symptoms of preeclampsia, more than a quarter of century, many foreign clinicians as preeclampsia indicator used by the high level of uric acid in blood serum - hyperuricemia. In patients with pre-eclampsia various severity degree the levels of vitamin D and uric acid in blood serum were analyzed before delivery. Frequent pronounced deficiency of vitamin D and an increased concentration of uric acid were found. During epidural analgesia it was found that patients with pre-eclampsia with an initially low level of vitamin D and increased concentration of uric acid required large doses of local anesthetics than patients with higher levels of vitamin D and normouricemia.
