Pheochromocytoma in pregnancy
DOI:
Abstract
The article presents the first in Tajikistan case of successful treatment of the pregnant patient with bilateral pheochromocytoma. Initially, given the size of formations and severity of the patient's condition, the first stage adrenalectomy had been performed on the left. However unexpectedly, after the discharge and recommendations of doctors, the patient was married and became pregnant. This fact can be explained by the low level of education. We succeeded with adequate doxazosin а-adrenoblock to bring the pregnancy to full-term birth of a living baby. The second phase of the operation was carried out after 1 month of Cesarean section and 13 months after the left-side adrenalectomy with good results.
