Abstract

A case of successful endovascular correction of the stent graft dislocation during endoprosthesis replacement of the infrarenal aneurysm of the abdominal aorta is presented. In a patient of senile age, the control aortography detected the displacement of the proximal crown of endograft with Ia type leakage. To adequately isolate the aneurysmal sac and prevent fatal complications, the Covered CP stents were successively implanted into the leakage area. In the final aortography, the Covered CP stents and stent graft full adhesion to the aortic walls was visualized, and the endografts were branched to the right and left common iliac arteries, with no signs of paravasal contrast. At the control multi-slice computer tomography with 3D-reconstruction after 3 months the signs of leakage were not revealed as well. This clinical case demonstrates the efficacy and safety of combining different types of stents while planning the abdominal aortic aneurysm endovascular treatment in patients who do not comply with generally accepted morphological criteria of patient selection for endovascular treatment of infrarenal aneurysms.
