authors’ own studies on immunogerontology. It presents new information on the mechanisms
of immune system aging, on the involvement of immunogenetic factors, cytokines, and
thermal shock proteins in this process. Age-related involution of the thymus and
age-related changes in an immune response are described. Current views of suppressor cell

pediatric, and dentistry faculties and to the curriculum on hygiene with fundamentals of
human ecology (for faculties of dentistry) approved by the Ministry of Health of the
Russian Federation in 1999. It describes methods and methodologies of hygienic studies of
the major environmental factors and body reactions to these factors, enabling the students

Podymova S.D. The 4th edition (the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd ones come out in 1984, 1993, and 1998

use for the diagnosis of diseases of various body systems are described. Parts 2 and 3
describe the main syndromes and clinical picture of the most prevalent diseases in their
classical variants.
MEDICINE OF DISASTERS
Fefilova L.K. The book presents the structure and functions of All-Russian Service of Medicine
of Disasters, its hardware and equipment, therapeutic and transportation provision of the

opioid abuse and dependence and consists of three parts. The first part incorporates the
latest knowledge on pharmacology of opioids and neurobiology of opioid dependence. Besides
the common intelligence the data on pharmacology, toxicology and abuse potential of
separate opioids — both street drugs and medicinal preparations — are considered. The
