original articles and reviews, the journal outlines topical problems in general pediatric
surgery, pediatric traumatology and orthopedics, urology, thoracic and abdominal
surgeries, as well as in pediatric anesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care.
Great attention is given to the present-day schools of pediatric surgeons and the leading
clinics of Russia and foreign countries, as well as to personnel training in them.
Particular emphasis is laid on subject-matter reviews and lectures, information on
monographs on pediatric surgery and related disciplines, which have or are to be
published, on new methods of diagnosis and treatment, and on the results of original
studies with practical recommendations.
The journal is intended for the practitioner specialized in pediatric
surgery.
