Kazanin V. I. This 2nd version of the book is revised and supplemented in
comparison with the 1st version issued in 1983.The book presents the common
systematism of cellular reactions in disease, classification schemes and series of
individual types of reactions. Special attention is paid to systematism of cell
degeneration. The book is supplemented by data on the cell aging processes and
irreversible cell damage (necrosis, apoptosis). Some new terms are suggested, which are
based on the traditional taxonomy, and the most rational synonyms are presented in a
series of synonyms. Schemes of elements of tissue/organ peculiarities of cell reactions in
disease are offered.
