The journal deals with
major theoretical and practical problems of general and applied immunology and
allergology. It publishes data on original investigations in immunogenetics, molecular and
cellular immunology, immunochemistry, biochemistry of immunogenesis, immunomorphology,
functional bases of immunity, immunology of allergic reactions, clinical immunology and
immunopathology.
Articles on new methods of immunological and immunochemical assays
recommended for clinical and experimental use, as well as short reports on novel evidence
of clinical and experimental immunology and allergology are presented.
Book reviews, information on scientific congresses and conferences and
important anniversaries and memorial dates are also published in the journal.
The journal is intended for immunologists and allergologists, specialists in
allied fields of medical science (biochemists, pathophysiologists, geneticists,
hematologists, cytologists, etc.) and for physicians interested in immunology and
allergology and using immunologic methods of study in clinical practice.
