Fefilova L.K. The book presents the structure and functions of All-Russian Service of Medicine
of Disasters, its hardware and equipment, therapeutic and transportation provision of the
population in emergency. Medical strategic characterization of natural, technogenic, and
social disasters is given. Specific features of injuries in foci of accidents and
disasters are described. Special attention is paid to first medical and pre-medical care,
actions of the population under extreme conditions. A special section is devoted to
survival under autonomous conditions. Tests will help the students better memorize and
