The manual describes the
structure of the facial skeleton and its components in the context of
age-related and individual characteristics. New data on the topography and
parameters of the parts of the facial skeleton have been obtained and the
possibilities of using them in the diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of
the efficiency of different interventions into the face are shown. A
comprehensive procedure comprising classical morphological (craniometry,
X-ray study) and current (computed tomography and magnetic resonance
imaging) studies has been employed.
