The journal "Medico-Social Expert Evaluation
and Rehabilitation" is addressed to specialists of institutions engaged in the
problems of disability and invalids.
It is intended to discuss research and practical problems of disability
prevention and epidemiology, medico-social expert evaluation, medical, social and
sociocommunal rehabilitation of invalids, legal aspects, norm-setting and economic
problems of invalidity, problems in training and upgrading specialists for institutions of
medico-social expert evaluation and rehabilitation of invalids. The journal describes the
status and outlines the prospects of social policy with regard to invalids, presents the
experience gained by regional and territorial institutions of the Russian Federation in
organization of social protection of population, and informs about modern approaches to
solving problems of invalidity and invalids in foreign countries.
Special attention is paid to results of original research and information
about novel perspective methods for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases leading to
invalidity.
