The brain: theoretical and clinical aspects/Ed. by V.I. Pokrovsky The monograph is a collection of papers by the leading scientists of the Russian
Academy of Medical Sciences who are engaged in brain studies. The book reflects the basic
lines of investigations of structural, functional, and neurochemical organizations of the
brain in health and in disease. The experimental and clinical studies of the brain,
conducted by the leading collective bodies of the Russian Academy of Medical
Sciences make it possible to elaborate the strategy of further development in this
field of medicine.
