Orthodontics The second version of this textbook (the first appeared in 1988) presents the propedeutic and hospital courses of orthodontics. Etiology, pathogenesis, clinical picture, treatment of, and prediction for the main dental, periodontal, temporomandibular, buccal mucosa diseases, allergies, injuries of the jaws requiring orthodontic treatment are described in detail. The organization philosophy of orthodontic care is discussed. This version includes new chapters: "Orthodontic treatment of adentia with implants" and a chapter written by V. Yu. Kurlyandsky "Functional pathology of the maxillodental system".
Physiology of the Maxillofacial Area/Ed. by S. M. Budylina and V. P. Degtyarev The textbook is prepared with consideration for the specific
features in the training of future dentists. The problems of functional structure of the
maxillofacial area, systemo- and gerontogenesis, adaptation and compensation, highly
significant for dentists, are discussed from analytical and total systems viewpoint.
