  The book gives the data available in the literature and the results of the author’s own studies of the blood antioxidative system in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthrosis, Bekhterev’s disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, and systemic scleroderma. It presents cases of treatment in patients with rheumatoid arthritis by the classical regimens and with pathogenetic agents, such as antioxidants (peroxynorm, tocopheron).
  This is the first study of the antioxidative system in rheumatoid arthritis, which has been performed in the past 10—15 years.
