Secondary interventions after surgical treatment of Hirschsprung's disease in children

Abstract

Analysis of various studies showed that the most important factors influencing clinical results include the experience and awareness of the surgeon as regards the choice of surgical intervention. Each technique has its specific rationale. Radical surgery of Hirschsprung’s disease is frequently associated with complications. The aim of this study was to analyze complications of different surgical methods and algorithms for their treatment.
