Scientific and artistic achievements

Academician Lvov is an author and coauthor of more than 700 major scientific works, including 11 books and manuals on general and special virology, unique satin, reflecting the spread of especially dangerous and poorly studied viral infections in the Russian Federation. He prepared more than 50 candidates and doctors of sciences.

Academician Lvov is a chairman of Specialized Academic Council on doctoral theses in virology, epidemiology and infectious diseases, chairman of the interdepartmental scientific council of Virology of RAS, member of the Bureau of Preventive Medicine Academy of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Virology of postgraduate professional education of the Sechenov Moscow Medical University

Academician Lvov is a three times winner of the Ivanovsky Prize, winner of the Academician Gamalea Prize. In 1976 he was awarded the Order "Badge of Honor" in 1991 - the Order of Lenin. In 1999 Dmitry K. Lvov became the winner of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of science.
